I'm Joy Biswas (TerminalWarlord), a full-stack and backend developer in Chittagong, Bangladesh. I build web apps and APIs, run Humanizely, and publish the data my projects produce.
Other people share the name Joy Biswas. This site is the software developer in Chittagong who builds Humanizely and the PriceLens dataset.
The short version
I study computer science at Premier University in Chittagong. Most of what I know comes from building things and then running them: a Telegram directory, a contest tracker, a price-tracking app that turned into a published dataset, and a subscription product.
From May to September 2026 I worked as a backend developer intern at 6SenseHQ, where I built the leave management module of the company's HR system — API design, business logic and data models in NestJS, TypeScript and MongoDB.
Humanizely, an AI-text detector and humanizer, is a product I design, build and run independently. Running a paid product taught me the parts that side projects skip: billing, entitlements, support and the difference between a demo and something people rely on.
PriceLens started as a price-tracking app for Bangladeshi electronics retailers. The data it collected became a dataset of 1,274,246 price observations, published on Mendeley Data with Sreya Mazumder. It has a DOI, a data dictionary and a datasheet that documents its limitations.
Outside client and product work I do competitive programming. It is where I practise thinking in edge cases, which is most of what backend work turns out to be.
How I work
Write the scope down
Every project starts with a short written scope: what is in, what is out and what the first milestone looks like.
Ship in small steps
Working software at each milestone beats a large reveal. Staging links make progress visible and feedback cheap.
Leave it runnable
Documentation, environment notes and credentials at handover. You should not need me to deploy your own product.
